Guatemala Cycling Federation - Guatemala - Miss Petite World 2017, Débora Puac

A message from Débora: "I've partnered with the Guatemala Cycling Federation to donate bikes to children in need at the finish line of one of the final stages of the biggest cycling event of the year, the Tour of Guatemala. The bikes I'm donating will of course be used for exercise and play, which are important for children, but there's another reason why they're significant. Many children in Guatemala live miles away from their schools and are sometimes unable to attend classes without a form of transportation. These bikes will help kids more easily travel to receive their education.
I'm currently contacting friends, family, and organizations I value to raise $1,500.00 to purchase 30 bikes. By partnering with local Guatemalan bike shops to receive discounts and remove shipping costs, I've been able to bring the cost of each bike down to $50.00. If you or anyone you know might be able to donate to support this cause, please let me know. The bike-giving celebration is going to be broadcast across Guatemala on TV and radio and it will be filmed to appear online so the joy provided to the children can be shared with everyone. I'll also be posting photos and videos on social media for you to check out. Furthermore, if you donate at least $50.00 to support the purchase of a bike, the logo or name of your choosing will be added to the event's t-shirt, and I'll mail one of the shirts to you. It would be so great to have the your logo on the shirt!
Also, I created a PayPal donation page for easy sharing, if you would like to donate: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=XRU5F83NA4LP2 "
